There are a variety of undergraduate programmes offered by CVMU. The university has been able to create a unique environment for students to groom and to be competent for the future challenges by offering various facilities at the campus. The candidates should be eligible for admission as per CVMU criteria. The students who have passed XII Science/Commerce/General stream examination or its equivalent exam with English or Gujarati as a subject are eligible for admission.
The same criteria is also applicable for NRI and foreign students. The University has been able to develop a crystal vision in imparting theoretical knowledge with its practical application in the particular disciplines. In order to train students as competent individuals, the institutes have blended the internships along with classroom interaction wherein the students are taught to impart as well as gain the practical application of the learning. It has been observed that such exercise has provided students a unique exposure in academics as well as industrial sectors.
On completion of the course, the students have an extra edge over others as the syllabi integrates practical lessons and provides exposure to real life work situations. Students are prepared for academic, industrial, commercial as well as entrepreneurial world as they are enough equipped with all the necessary skills.
CVMU offers Post-Graduation, a specialized full-time course for two years duration wherein aspirants are offered in-depth domain specific knowledge. It can be pursued by students after completion of their bachelor’s degree.
Candidates interested in pursuing a Master degree must be dedicated and focused on the subject of their choice. A master’s degree takes more willpower and fortitude as they are required to conduct extensive research in their respective subjects.
Pursuing a Master’s degree at CVMU helps students to become competent in the subject domain adding an advantage to their fields. Admissions in Ph.D. programs at the CVM University is done twice a year viz January Batch and July Batch. Ph.D. program is conducted as per the UGC guidelines. Coursework, participation in various interactions, submission of progress reports, presentations etc. on regular basis are mandatory. The CVM University is a multi-faculty university and committed for promotion of Research and Innovation in line with NEP 2020 Mandate.
