The Faculty of Arts at CVM University ambits has three colleges, namely Institute of Language Studies and Applied Social Sciences (ILSASS), CVM College of Fine Arts, and H.M. Patel English Studies Center (ESCEN) spanning the subjects like Languages, Humanities, Social Science, Journalism & Mass Communication, Social Work, and Fine Arts.
The Faculty of Arts has a unic approach incorporating collaborative and interdisciplinary learning among students. The course curriculum of varied Undergraduate, Post graduate and Diploma programmes is designed to inculcate the ability among the students. The various programmes offered under Faculty of Arts nurture and unleash the innovative entrepreneurial abilities, impart human and ethical values through industrial and community engagement and thereby ensure a holistic development.

At the completion of Higher Secondary Education, students are standing at threshold of a new beginning. They have to make the most crucial decisions of their lives. These decisions include choosing a course in line with their intellectual quotient, emotional quotient and spiritual quotient. Students also have to choose their career keeping in mind the demands and challenges of a dynamic world. Charutar Vidya Mandal University popularly known as CVMU, provides an answer to your search for a university which cater to your quest for knowledge and secure future career. We, at CVMU, put lot of emphasis on cultivating confidence and inculcating life skills in our students. It is our mission to promote all round personality development. The University’s academic calendar incorporates all the activities that foster entrepreneurial skills, leadership quality, communication and presentation skills, project writing skills, film appreciation, visits to places for exposure and learning to name a few.
The University has also introduced a number of postgraduate courses. The university imparts academic as well as personal counselling to each student on continuous basis. For this purpose each teacher is assigned 25 students. The process of counselling generates everlasting bond between the teacher and the students. This bond is used to guide and help the student not only in studies but also in co-curricular activities and career guidance. The university equips the students to become lifelong learners.
