ABOUT FACULTY OF AYURVEDIC MEDICINE

An awakened society, government, and judiciary are regarded as the three vital pillars of a strong democracy. Inspired by the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) was established to impart Gyan (knowledge), Vigyan (science), and Pragyan (wisdom) to the younger generations, preparing them to become globally competent learners and responsible citizens.

At CVM University, the Faculty of Commerce, Management and Law stands as a premier academic hub dedicated to nurturing professionals who can address contemporary challenges with integrity, competence, and vision. With more than 150 academic programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, the faculty fosters a unique ecosystem of interdisciplinary learning, holistic growth, and applied research.

Our state-of-the-art infrastructure—including digital libraries, language and computer laboratories, interaction theatres, seminar halls, and student-friendly campus facilities—creates an environment conducive to innovation, collaboration, and leadership development. The clean and green campus at Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, further enriches the student experience.

We focus on building knowledge, skills, and attitude that form the essence of education in commerce, management, and law. By aligning academic rigor with real-world relevance, we prepare students to contribute meaningfully to business, society, governance, and the judiciary, strengthening the foundation of our vibrant democracy.

MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Dr. Hemant Trivedi

Dean : FACULTY OF COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT & LAW

Principal / Director Of : C Z Patel College of Business and Management

Education is essential for all, while Commerce, Management, and Law form the foundation of a society’s sustainable existence. We emphasize three core aspects—knowledge, skills, and attitude—that shape management learning and practice.
The purpose of education is to contribute to nation-building by improving the living standards of society. Management education and practice—rooted in the wisdom of the Manu Smriti, the discourses of the Bhagavad Gita, the strategies of Chanakya, and continuing today in the global competitive environment—have consistently served as the foundation of human growth and development. They have proven to be powerful instruments for individuals, organizations, and nations to achieve growth, competitive advantage, and prosperity.
The Faculty of Commerce, Management, and Law at CVM University (under the aegis of Charutar Vidya Mandal, established in 1945), with its world-class, state-of-the-art infrastructure—including interaction theatres, library and e-resources lab, computer and language labs, tutorial rooms, faculty lounges, conference rooms, and seminar halls—provides a clean, green campus environment equipped with hostels, transport facilities, and a student-centric learning ecosystem at Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India.
The campus, located amidst the lush green surroundings of Vallabh Vidyanagar, offers more than 150 programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across diverse departments, institutes, and faculties. This academic variety creates abundant opportunities for holistic development and encourages interdisciplinary learning.
We welcome aspiring students who are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the nation and society. With openness to unlearning, learning, and relearning, students are encouraged to engage in real-life research, expand existing knowledge, and propose contemporary models, thereby aligning their personal goals with those of the faculty, college, and university
