The S. G. Patel Ayurveda Hospital & Maternity Home was established on 25th January 2005, followed by the G. J. Patel Institute of Ayurvedic Studies & Research on 27th April 2005 at New Vallabh Vidyanagar. These institutions were founded with the vision of creating a unique and all-encompassing Ayurveda Institute that offers unlimited facilities and strives for unmatched excellence.
Our dream is to establish a Model Ayurveda Institute that meets global expectations by combining ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern advancements. Our vision is to provide quality Ayurveda education that is value-added, globally relevant, and firmly rooted in eternal human values. We aspire to build a bridge between tradition, science, and technology, supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced diagnostic aids, and authentic traditional practices.
Our mission is the resurrection and revitalization of Ayurveda, carrying forward India’s timeless tradition of pioneering excellence in learning. GJPIASR, which includes G.J.Patel Ayurved College and S.G.Patel Ayurved Hospital is one of the top most institute in the field of Ayurveda not only in Gujarat but even at National Level. Since its establishment in 2006 GJPIASR has remained role model in Ayurveda Fraternity. The well equipped Hospital and highly qualified, experienced teaching staff constantly ensures to the grooming of knowledgeable Vaidyas to serve the society fulfilling the dreams of great visionaries like Bhaikaka and Bhikhabhai. After all this is the CVM University constituent College, having the great heritage of personality like the Loh Purush Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

G. J. Patel Institute of Ayurvedic Studies & Research, offers a 5 ½ year degree course – Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) in Ayurveda system of medicine, 3 years post graduate course – Doctor of Medicine in Kayachikitsa, Doctor of Medicine in Panchakarma and Master of Surgery in Shalya Tantra.
The College envisions to impart quality education, to generate and provide ideas and paradigms for achieving excellence in Ayurveda education and educational management, to develop a spirit of inquiry by offering an encouraging academic ethos, to proactively initiate measures for preservation, dissemination, application and re-emphasize the benefits of ancient Indian medicine methodology.
