Internal Complaint Cell

In accordance with the guidelines laid out by the University Grants Commission (UGC), CVM University has constituted an Internal Complaint Cell (ICC) to address grievances related to sexual harassment and gender-based discrimination within the campus.

The ICC serves as a mechanism to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. It functions as per the norms of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013.

 

Key Functions of ICC:

  • Address complaints of sexual harassment and gender discrimination.
  • Conduct inquiries into complaints while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ensure a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual misconduct.
  • Promote awareness and sensitization on gender equality and workplace safety.
